Whether you live in Kenridge or work in one of the offices around Tygervalley, Kido Kids in Van Riebeeckshof is a convenient preschool and crèche to consider. We are about 4 km by road from Tyger Valley Centre and closer still to Kenridge, so drop-off can happen on the way to the office and pick-up on the way home.
Getting here from Tygervalley and Kenridge
From the Tygervalley side, head along Tygerberg Valley Road and turn onto Van Riebeeckshof Road, which brings you to Delaire Street. From Kenridge, you join Van Riebeeckshof Road for a short drive west to Delaire Street. Both routes stay on local roads and avoid the busiest highway traffic, although the roads around Tygervalley can get congested at peak times. Half day or full day?
Parents working in and around Tygervalley often ask which option suits them best. Our full day runs from 07h00 to 17h30, which covers a standard office day plus the drive, while the half day runs from 07h00 to 14h30 for parents with shorter or flexible hours. Our classes
We welcome children from 3 months to 5 years, in three age groups:
- Babies (3–12 months): gentle routines, sensory play, music and plenty of cuddles
- Tods (1–3 years): learning through play and exploration as they build everyday skills
- Toddlers (3–5 years): activities that grow independence, creativity and school readiness
Meals are included, and we close only for a short break over December, which helps when your office stays open through the school holidays.
