Here is what the monthly fee at Kido Kids covers, so you can compare like with like:
- Meals every day. Our fully equipped kitchen prepares a balanced menu for the children each day, so there are no lunchboxes to pack. Meals are included in the fee for every option.
- Clear hours, Monday to Friday. Full day runs from 07h00 to 17h30 and half day from 07h00 to 14h30. Both start at the same time, so the choice comes down to your collection time.
- Two age groups. Babies & Tods (3 months to 3 years) and Toddlers (3 to 5 years), so your child can stay with us from babyhood until big school.
- Open almost all year. We only close for a short period over the December holiday, which helps working parents plan leave.
- Part-week places for any age. If you do not need five days, 2 days a week (R2 800 p/m) and 3 days a week (R3 300 p/m) are available for children of any age.
Working out your monthly cost: two examples
To see how the official fees (from 1 August 2026) translate into a family budget:
- A 10-month-old baby in full day care: R5 400 a month (Babies & Tods, full day), plus the once-off R1 800 registration levy when you enrol.
- A 4-year-old on half days: R5 050 a month (Toddlers, half day). Moving to full day would be R5 250, a difference of R200 a month for the extra hours until 17h30.
